Summary:
Die xDR Format Module - formule consists of several software modules which enables the user to convert binary data to the human readable ASCII format and vice versa. This fundamental functionality is the prerequisite in order to process binary data sets. Formule offers various output formats. Moreover, it provides a highly developed filter. Its functionality enables the user to easily find any special data set among several thousands.

Formule can be used for any xDR format irrespective of net elements and whether these data are coded in ASN.1 or non-ASN.1 format. It can also be used for any xDR formats that are generated by software (e.g. mediation device or alike software).

Definition of problem:
The original format of billing data is file based and coded in binary format. So there are 1 to n xDRs, i.e. it is a data format which cannot be read by humans.

These data can only be viewed after being transferred into the human readable ASCII format, a necessity in order to ensure transparency, and the only way to check any details and draw conlusions accordingly.
